I embrace the transformative potential of artificial intelligence while maintaining a firm commitment to ethical standards. I use AI responsibly, ensuring that all data and algorithms are handled transparently, fairly, and with respect for privacy. My goal is to use AI to create solutions that benefit society, promote equality, and uphold human dignity, while actively mitigating bias and discrimination.

AI and Studio Practice

I use AI as a studio assistant, not a replacement for creative thinking. Claude helps me refine grant applications, edit artist statements, research environmental statistics, and organize project documentation. The ideas, concepts, and all physical artwork remain entirely my own.
 

When AI assists with writing, I treat it like working with an editor: the final voice is mine, the arguments are mine, and I take full responsibility for what goes out under my name. I don't use AI to generate final artworks, concepts, or visual elements for the United Fauna series or any other work.
 

I'm transparent about this because I believe artists should be honest about their tools, whether that's a specific brush, a sculpture technique, or a language model that helps translate messy thoughts into clearer prose.
