Kraken remembers when the water was breathable, when coral wasn't bleached bone-white, when the continental shelves weren't dragged bare by industrial trawlers.
We split from a common ancestor 750 million years ago. We think we're so smart with our opposable thumbs. The octopus has eight arms, a brain in each. Each one thinks for itself, tasting, feeling, and moving, while the central brain watches for threats and food. The first intelligent being on Earth.
Kraken is a legend reborn in warmer waters. Bigger than himself, bigger than coral, bigger than the human ego trawling a reef just to see what they get. If you see him, remember, he's not a hugger.
